These terms explain how this website and its inquiry tools work. A confirmed job is also governed by its written estimate, scope, service agreement and any notices required by law. This page is not a substitute for a required signed home improvement contract.
1. Inquiries, estimates and booking
Sending a form, using the calculator, texting or opening a WhatsApp draft is a request for information. It does not reserve an appointment, authorize work, take payment or accept a final price. IDDQD reviews the actual job before confirming whether it can accept it.
Calculator figures are estimated labor amounts for the listed scope. Items marked “Quote” have no automatic price and are excluded from the priced subtotal. Room starters are editable suggested item lists, not discounted packages. Materials, models, layout, wall or subfloor condition, access, preparation, lifting needs, travel and agreed extras can affect the final quote. Confirm everything in writing before work begins.
2. Scope, permissions and required qualifications
Provide accurate product links, quantities, dimensions, wall or flooring information, known damage and building-access requirements. Explain any landlord, co-op, condominium, management or insurance-documentation requirements before arranging a visit. Do not send payment card details, identification documents or access codes through the website form.
Licensing, permit, building and safety requirements depend on the actual work. Work requiring a qualification or authorization is accepted only after the applicable requirements are verified and satisfied. A service description or quote request is not a representation that every possible scope can be performed. Electrical and plumbing services are not included in the advertised estimates. Work may need to be declined, paused or separately scoped if conditions are unsuitable or required permissions are missing.
3. Written confirmation and changes
The job confirmation should identify the work, materials responsibilities, agreed price, timing, payment arrangements and any applicable cancellation or warranty terms. If a statutory contract or cancellation notice is required, it must be supplied separately in the required form before work proceeds.
Additional work and price changes must be agreed before the extra work is carried out. A website estimate is not permission to add charges without agreement. Unexpected conditions may require a revised scope or a different professional.
4. Payments
The website does not collect payments. For direct service bookings, the payment method and when payment is due are confirmed with the job. The advertised process is to review completed work before paying by the agreed method. No deposit, automatic charge or subscription is created by a website inquiry. Any different payment schedule must be disclosed in the written agreement and comply with applicable law.
5. Scheduling, cancellation and refunds
Requested dates and same-day requests depend on confirmed availability. Contact IDDQD promptly if your plans change. Any job-specific rescheduling or cancellation charge must be disclosed and agreed before booking; this website does not establish an automatic cancellation fee or a blanket non-refundable policy.
Any statutory cancellation, refund, warranty or other consumer rights remain available. Where a home improvement cancellation notice is required, the signed job documents must provide it. Contact IDDQD in writing about a cancellation, refund request or service concern. Do not rely on this website page as the transaction-specific Notice of Cancellation.
6. TaskRabbit bookings and third-party services
Bookings made through TaskRabbit use that platform’s rates, payment processes and applicable terms. Website estimates do not change an existing TaskRabbit booking. Third-party links, messaging services and product brands have their own terms and privacy practices. Product logos identify furniture brands; they do not imply sponsorship or affiliation.
7. Photos and website material
Photos and product links you send are used to understand and respond to your request. Sending a photo for a quote does not grant permission to publish it in marketing; public use requires separate permission. Only send material you are entitled to share. Website design, original copy and other material belong to IDDQD or their respective owners; do not copy or misuse them without permission.
8. Website availability and lawful rights
We aim to keep the website, estimates and contact tools accurate and usable, but information can change and online services can be interrupted. Confirm important job details directly. This page does not create an unconfirmed workmanship guarantee or eliminate any responsibility established by a job agreement or applicable law.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived, or excludes liability where the law prohibits an exclusion, including applicable obligations relating to fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct or personal injury.
9. Questions, disputes and applicable law
Please contact IDDQD first so a concern can be understood and addressed. These website terms are governed by applicable New York law. To the extent legally permitted, court proceedings concerning these terms may be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York City. Mandatory consumer-law protections, venue requirements, small-claims rights and the right to contact a regulator are preserved. There is no mandatory arbitration or class-action waiver on this page.
10. Updates and contact
The current version and update date appear on this page. Changes do not retroactively rewrite an already agreed job or remove legal rights. Send written questions or legal correspondence to the business email above; contact us if you need mailing instructions for a particular matter. Read the Privacy Policy for information handling and Before you book for practical job preparation.
